Terms of use

Last updated 11 August 2026

RupaPorup is a marketplace. Your purchase contract is with the seller; we run the platform, the checkout and the dispute process.

1.About these terms

These terms govern your use of RupaPorup. By browsing the site or placing an order you accept them. We are a marketplace: most products are sold by independent sellers, and your purchase contract is with the seller, not with us.

We are responsible for the platform, the checkout, the payment flow and the dispute process. The seller is responsible for the product, its description, and its warranty.

2.Your account

You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. Keep access to that number secure — anyone who can receive your SMS can place orders as you. Tell us immediately if you lose control of the number.

You must be 18 or older to place an order, or have a parent or guardian do it for you.

3.Prices and availability

Prices are set by sellers and shown in Bangladeshi Taka, inclusive of VAT where it applies. Stock and prices can change until you place your order; the price you pay is the price shown at the moment you confirm checkout.

Occasionally a listing carries an obvious error — a price missing a digit, for example. Where that happens we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it, and we will tell you why.

4.Orders and cancellation

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when the seller confirms it. You can cancel free of charge any time before dispatch, from the order page.

We may cancel an order if the item is out of stock, the address is undeliverable, we cannot reach you to confirm a Cash on Delivery order, or we suspect fraud.

5.Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery is offered as a convenience and depends on your area being served by our courier partners. Repeatedly refusing delivered parcels without cause may result in Cash on Delivery being withdrawn from your account.

6.Reviews and content you post

Only shoppers who bought and received an item can review it. Do not post other people’s personal information, abuse, or content you do not have the rights to. We remove reviews that break these rules, and we never remove a review simply because a seller dislikes it.

7.Limits on our liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009 or any other law that cannot be excluded. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

8.Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above tells you when. Material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction.
